2.1.1
Version 2.1.1 contains fixes to our new comments feature. You can read more about collaborative comments in Obsidian on our blog <3
2.1.0
Comments!
Markdown notes synced via screen.garden now support comments. To show all the comments in a note, run the Show comments command. To add a comment, select some text and either right-click and select Add comment or use the Add comment command—on mobile, it helps to add this command to the toolbar.
Comments can be made online or offline, can be replied to, deleted, and resolved. They also work on the web! You can read more about comments in our blog post. Let us know what you think!
2.0.1
- Added a "Debug collection" command for generating useful debug info for support requests.
2.0.0
- Adds realtime multiplayer collab support for Obsidian canvas: every .canvas file in your screen.garden collection is now automatically an infinite collaborative whiteboard with realtime cursors!
- Lots of other small changes and fixes.
1.3.3
- lays some groundwork for a much bigger feature release that's coming soon
- screen.garden will now check for plugin updates and let you know (via status icon and home tab) when one is available
- we've make background sync queues more durable, meaning that file sync status should persist across Obsidian restarts
- fixed some bugs and typos
1.3.2
Bigger files, bug fixes
- We've increased the maximum allowed file size for non-markdown files from 20 MB to 200 MB. Give us your tired, your hungry, your massive PDFs…
- We tweaked how screen.garden syncs Markdown tables to make it play nicer with Obsidian's table editor—if you're a heavy table editor user please try it out and let us know how it feels!
As always, follow https://screen.garden/blog for our longer-form updates and other collaboration content.
1.3.1
New access commands!
We've added new commands to quickly share notes publicly or behind a password. Previously this was a web-only feature; now you can quickly jot something down and grab a read-only url with a single command or hotkey.
We also added file sync reliability checks.
Happy sharing!
1.3.0
Full vault sync and collab
- You can now connect your entire vault to a screen.garden collection.
- Doing so will sync everything in your vault—notes and files—for teams or those working solo.
- For more info and a quick guide on how to set this up, see our blog post on full vault sync.
Other fixes
- We've also fixed a few small issues, including one which caused some Android clients to disconnect during sync.
- As always, follow our blog for the latest updates on what we're working on!
