I’d like to share some information I’ve learned about Bootstrap 6. The Bootstrap team will completely remove the jQuery interface in Bootstrap 6. So, I’m really looking forward to version 2.0 of bootstrap-table — this is definitely something worth considering.

I’d also like to offer a suggestion: for plugin initialization via data attributes, we can take inspiration from how Bootstrap uses a prefix. For example:

<a href="#" data-bs-toggle="tooltip" data-bs-title="Some tooltip text!">Hover over me</a>

They all use the bs prefix. Similarly, in bootstrap-table, we could add our own prefix, such as data-bt-toggle="table".
