Kaia v2.2.2 Release Notice

IMPORTANT: Kaia v2.2.2 contains a hardfork upgrade that results in changes that are not backward compatible. All Mainnet nodes must be upgraded to v2.2.2 or later before the target block number.

The Kaia network v2.2 introduces the Osaka hardfork, including the Blob transaction, and several compatibility features at the EVM and API levels. This version also improves the performance and command-line tools. Find more about the v2.2 features in the v2.2.0 Release Notice.

Here’s the hardfork schedule for the Mainnet

• Block number: 213333000 (estimated time: 07 Apr, 10:03 UTC+9)
• Hardfork contents: Osaka hardfork
