Summary of Changes

Hello @capachino, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on a significant refactoring of the project's directory structure, specifically by eliminating the 'src' folder. This change aims to simplify the project layout and integrate new tooling for security analysis. The security scan documentation has also been revised to reflect a more focused approach to code review.

Highlights

  • Directory Restructuring: The primary change involves the removal of the 'src' directory, with its contents being relocated to the project root or new subdirectories. This streamlines the project structure.
  • Updated Security Scan Guidelines: The 'GEMINI.md' file, which outlines security scan instructions, has been significantly updated. Key changes include the removal of dependency analysis phases, renumbering of subsequent phases, and the addition of new guidelines for understanding repository context during scans.
  • New Security Command Definition: A new TOML file, 'commands/security/analyze.toml', has been added to define a command for initiating security reviews, indicating a new way to trigger the security analysis process.
  • Extension Configuration Update: The 'gemini-extension.json' file has been moved from the 'src' directory to the project root and updated to reflect the new structure and extension name 'gemini-cli-security'.

Code Review

This pull request refactors the project by removing the src directory and moving its contents to the root. While this is mostly a structural change, it also introduces some significant modifications to the security scan instructions in GEMINI.md. Most notably, the dependency scanning phase has been removed, which reduces the security coverage of the tool. I've highlighted this and a few other minor issues in the documentation for your consideration.
