Concord Clockwork, formerly the Clockwork Soldiers and Minute(men) to Win It, are a team originally from Concord High School in Concord, California. They have competed at 10 events as of the 2026 season and commonly participate in the Sacramento District Event, formerly the Sacramento Regional. They have yet to recieve any awards at any of their events.

## History and Season Placement
Concord Clockwork's rookie year was the 2018 season (Power Up), mentored by Tom Trowbridge, who was the primary mentor until the 2026 season. They competed in the San Fransisco Regional, placing Rank 38 of 43 teams with a record of 2 wins and 8 losses, and the Capital City Classic, placing Rank 37 of 44 teams with a record of 3 wins and 6 losses. According to Statbotics, they were ranked 2851 of 3617 teams globally for EPA.

during the 2019 season (Destination: Deep Space), they competed in the Central Valley Regional (Rank 21/49, 5-5-0) and the Sacramento Regional (Rank 54/59, 3-6-0). They were ranked 3407 of 3760 teams globally for EPA.

during the 2020 & 2021 (Infinite Recharge), they bowed out from competing in the substitute competitions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

during the 2022 season (Rapid React), they competed in the Sacramento Regional (Rank 42/43, 1-10-0). They were ranked 3041 of 3062 teams globally for EPA.

during the 2023 season (Charged Up), they competed in the Sacramento Regional (Rank 30/46, 4-6-0). They were ranked 3015 of 3290 teams globally for EPA. This was their final year as the Clockwork Soldiers, changing their team name next year to Clockwork Concord due to a shift in their school's mascot away from the Minuteman.

during the 2024 season (Crescendo), they competed in the Sacramento Regional (Rank 37/38, 2-8-2). They were ranked 3469 of 3477 teams globally for EPA. Due to the previous year's membership being made up of all seniors except two, the club's leadership was left to Friedrich Azevedo-Luesse, sophmore, who had captain role until the end of the 2026 season. By the end of this season the team only had four members.

during the 2025 season (Reefscape), they competed in the Sacramento Regional (Rank 23/34, 5-7-0). They were ranked 2500 of 3702 teams globally for EPA. All but two members were yet again seniors, and so the club had to rebuild once more, ending the season with a total concurrent membership of seven students.

during the 2026 season (Rebuilt), they competed in the Half Moon Bay District Event (Rank 21/26, 4-8-0) and the Sacramento District Event (Rank 33/38, 4-8-0). They were ranked 3648 of 3726 teams globally for EPA as of April 11th. This year for membership was much better, losing few members and growing up to 11 concurrent members.

## Robots
Their robot for the 2018 season was unnamed or their name is unknown. It ran on a tank drive, having a gravity deploying conveyor to intake and spit out cubes to the lower goals. The primary strategy was scoring to this low goal and parking at the end.

Their robot for the 2019 season was unnamed or their name is unknown. It was a tread tank drive with an elevator that could be used to pick up cargo and bring it to the central goal. It was rarely utilized due to its inconsistency. The primary strategy was defense and parking at the end.

Their robot for the 2022 season is known by the name of "The Woodbot" due to it being mostly made from wood. Most named robots follow the trend this started of wood themed names. During the competition the Woodbot was not very functional, moving slowly and not being able to utilise its large wood mechanisms, except for one instance of climbing, and thus it had no clear strategy.

Their robot for the 2023 season was unnamed. This robot was a tank drive with a four bar linkage arm on top. The mechanism was powered by a servo grabbing with 3D printed claws. The team coded with LabView this year. Due to issues with having the arm function, it was not used during competition, though was still attached. During their first qualification match, their arm was not properly locked down and shot out into an allied robot, later disabling them. The primary strategy was defense and parking.

Their robot for the 2024 season is named Splinter. This robot was a tank drive utilizing the kitbot shooting mechanism, a static arm that could score to the Amp utilising a redline motor and pulley, and two climbing arms. The primary strategy was scoring to the amp initially, cycling from the source to the speaker, and then climbing.

Their robot for the 2025 season was named Timber. Timber was the first year with a swerve drive, a NEO swerve. It had an elevator with an arm to grab algae. Due to issues with having the elevator function, it was not used during the competition, though was still attached. The primary strategy was defense and parking.

Their robot for the 2026 season is named Methuselah for the oldest known tree on Earth. This robot was a swerve drive yet again, but moved to Kraken motors. It initially had a simplified Kitbot shooter, though was modified even further into a drum shooter in between competitions. It had a non-functional intake modeled after Penn State's RI3D. The primary strategy was shooting a preload and then shuttling fuel into the outpost.

The team also had two non-competing robots. In 2025, A test robot, Current, was also created but was not utilized. Between 2019 and 2023 the Destination: Deep Space robot was decomissioned, leaving its chassis behind. A chair was later added to it. In 2026, Concord Clockwork decided to fix it, and now one additional robot, a drivable tank, has been added to their lineup.
