Hey there 👋 I'm Dan

I'm an engineering leader and solutions architect based in London with a track record of shaping technical strategy, building high-performing teams, and delivering systems at scale. I currently help lead engineering in Remote Identity Assurance at Stø / BankID in Norway, building the infrastructure that underpins digital trust. This means working in a heavily regulated space — I've supported delivery of ETSI TS 119 401 and ETSI TS 119 461 compliance, and I help shape our security posture and risk mitigation with user privacy at the forefront of everything that we do.

I'm also a passionate open source advocate and adopter of standards. I maintain node-mssql, the most popular MS SQL Server client for Node.js, and I build tooling around open standards like RFC 9421 (HTTP Message Signatures).
