Every distributed monitoring solution requires a method for extraction and transportation of server metrics. TSP is a message queue that centralizes handling of this common concern. TSP makes all metrics available as a real-time data source usable as input to higher-level monitoring services: time series databases, alerting systems, real-time dashboards, and so on.
