  • Remove code marked to be deprecated in 2.4 including: UVData: - all uses of `unphased` in favor of `unprojected` including the `unphase_to_drift` method. - The `use_old_proj` option to phasing code (+ associated parameters & `_deprecated_phase_helper` method) as well as default rephrasing with multi-file reads and associated functions in utils.py. - Defaulting for `cat_name` in phasing -- it must be provided starting in v2.4 - `spoof_nonessential` parameter and machinery in `write_uvfits` - `use_aoflagger_flags` and `flag_small_auto_ants` parameters to `UVData.read_mwa_corr_fits` method. UVFlag: - Handling for missing new metadata (`telescope_name`, `telescope_location`, `channel_width`, `spw_array`, `Nspws`, `antenna_names`, `antenna_numbers`, `antenna_positions`). - Handling for various differences between parameters that should be the same in `__add__`. - `lst_from_uv` method in UVFlag UVBeam: - The `interpolation_function` attribute. utils: - The `with_conjugates` parameter in the `get_baseline_redundancies` function in favor of the `include_conjugates` parameter.

  • The changes we are going to make for version 3.0 -- includes several breaking changes. - remove support the old array shapes - remove support for old phasing including the `phase_type`, `phase_center_ra/dec`, `frame`, `epoch` attributes - Always require spw_id_array (so can remove the `flex_spw` boolean) - Update the tutorials to remove text about these deprecated items.
