I build backend systems primarily in Python, with an emphasis on maintainability, clear boundaries and reliable operation in production. My work spans APIs, distributed systems, software architecture, observability, cloud infrastructure and the modernization of existing systems.
I also use tools such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code to support design, implementation, testing and review. The goal is disciplined AI-assisted engineering: faster feedback and delivery while keeping architecture, correctness and ownership with the engineer.
- Backend: Python, FastAPI, Django, Django Ninja, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery
- Architecture and systems: REST APIs, distributed and event-driven systems, microservices, Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design concepts, system modernization
- Cloud and infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions
- Observability: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry, Datadog
- AI-assisted engineering: OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, AI agents and agentic development workflows
