Problem

I want that all family members have access to the contacts from their phone address book

Proposed Solution

Provide a CardDAV (read only) provider for the address book entries.

Not sure if "build steps" would be required, depends on which library is being used for the CardDAV provider?

Thanks for the suggestion! CardDAV read-only
sync for the Contacts module is a great fit for Oikos.

This has been added to the backlog as BL-11 and is planned for a future release. The main
evaluation point before implementation is choosing a suitable server-side CardDAV library that
works without a build step on the frontend side — the backend dependency is fine to add.

We'll update this issue once implementation begins. Stay tuned!
