Run Mergerfs in Docker on Synology NAS

Hello! Great work btw - having been running mergerfs on my Synology for quite a while not and I really like your work.

Getting it to run on my Syno still was a bit of a hassle regarding the manual in the docu (which I am glad it exists that was)

My question: Do you know if mergerFS works as well on a Syno if I run it in Docker and mount all my stuff there?
have not read something about it here in the Issues and the Docu at all but I would be curious.

I have no system to test against or know enough to really comment. The best is to just try it.

Those docs were written by others. If you can confirm details on what does or doesn't work I can add it to the main docs.

Thanks for your answer - did a short try and on Syn the "-v /mnt/to-merge:/mnt/to-merge:rshared: The mounts from the host to merge within the container." -> :shared operator is not easliy done. Even with proper SSHing I did not get it working.

Just for documentation purposes if someone stumbles upon that.

Although not synology, I have been running the provided docker image on my ubuntu machine for awhile now and haven't had any issues. It was much more convenient bringing it into my docker compose setup.

Any eta on when the 2.42.0 docker image will be available?
