FiNeR supports only sections and options into sections, essentially the format described here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INI_file

@szaghi thank you for the response. The wiki article indicates support for subsections (i.e., section nesting) with dot syntax, as shown below:

[section.subsection]

would it be possible to add this functionality?

@dylanrubini it is possible, but currently I am extremely busy and I have no time to devote to my FOSS libraries. I cannot make any prevision on when I will find the time to implement this feature.
