label color remains black in dark mode

It seems when I use dark mode on my machine, legend labels remain black. Other d3 text labels do adjust to match my dark theme.

Are you using useClass(true)?

how can I get labels to use my dark mode theme colors? is there an arg I can pass to legendColor()?
