Request: Support / Install Instructions for Hys on Android Termux

Hi,

I’d like to request support or official installation guidance for Hys on Android Termux.

Termux provides a full Linux environment on Android,I Am Not Happy with Any Rss reader app i wanna try Hys in My Termux.

not confirmed but try these steps and let me know if they work:

1. pkg update && pkg upgrade
2. pkg install git zig libcurl clang pkg-config less
3. git clone https://github.com/superstarryeyes/hys.git
4. cd hys
5. zig build -Doptimize=ReleaseSafe
6. cp zig-out/bin/hys $PREFIX/bin/

I use termux-chroot.
This is because /etc/resolv.conf could not be read due to differences in file systems, resulting in the error: TemporaryNameServerFailure.

is it possible for you to try the install without the termux-chroot?

I also tried and build everything without Termux-chroot, when I created this issue but got similar issues i don't remember now,So I just Gave up..

hmm, the problem might be the libexpat library, which doesn't seem to have android support.

sorry, I'm unable to help or debug this because I don't own the device.
