• you can do visual programming but not in stride directly but in https://vvvv.org/ which use stride for there 3d rendering.
• also visual programming is not attractive it's the opposite it's less organized on bigger project's and you tend to have more control on your workflow using coding.

It could be for artists, who just want to tweak animations, I imagine. As for everything there are pros and cons, it is up to the team/user to decide what to use in order to fit their own needs.

Visual scripting is the Electron of the gaming world. It is fine as long as it is used for scripting dynamic events in the game world so non-developers can do it themselves. Unfortunately, just like Electron apps, it is a virus that spreads ruining the host. Just look at how many people exclusively use blueprints for coding core game logic in Unreal Engine.
