Keep the Tezos developer ecosystem alive
ECAD Labs builds and maintains Taquito, the TypeScript library that most teams building on Tezos rely on. If you've used a Tezos wallet, marketplace, or dApp in the last few years, odds are Taquito was running underneath it.
Taquito powers production apps at Temple Wallet, Kukai, objkt.com, 3Route, QuipuSwap, Ledger, Tezos Domains, TzSafe, and many others.
Why we need your support
For years, Taquito's maintenance was underwritten by the Tezos Foundation. That funding has now ended. ECAD Labs has chosen to keep maintaining Taquito on its own, because the ecosystem depends on it, but maintaining a library of this scope is not free.
Every Tezos protocol upgrade (roughly every few months) requires coordinated work in Taquito so that wallets, dApps, and infrastructure keep functioning. On top of that, we handle:
- Security patches and dependency updates
- Bug reports from production dApps
- TypeDoc reference documentation and guides at taquito.io
- CI against every supported Tezos node version and major Beacon-compatible wallet
- Responding to developer questions on Discord, GitHub, and Stack Exchange
What your sponsorship funds
Sponsorships go directly toward engineering time: protocol upgrade support, bug fixes, new features requested by the community, documentation, and developer support channels.
If your product runs on Taquito, sponsoring is the simplest way to ensure the library your users depend on stays healthy, protocol-current, and freely available to everyone.
