Help build Heliox OS
I'm Vyom, building Heliox OS—an open-source, privacy-first desktop agent that can plan, execute, verify, and recover across voice, gesture, browser, and desktop workflows.
Sponsorship funds the work that software-only CI cannot cover: real microphones and cameras, accessibility testing, clean-machine releases, cross-platform systems, and live EEG acquisition hardware.
Current goal: $250 for live neural-input validation
Heliox already supports synthetic and recorded neural data. The next milestone is testing the pipeline with a real entry-level EEG device and publishing honest measurements for signal quality, latency, accuracy, false triggers, and rejected input.
Funds will support:
- EEG hardware, delivery, electrodes, and adapters
- repeatable hardware calibration and validation
- accessibility and multimodal testing
- release infrastructure and sustained open-source development
Synthetic or recorded demonstrations will always be labelled clearly. Heliox will not claim live brain control until physical testing passes, and neural input cannot approve destructive actions or control physical equipment.
Thank you for helping make private, user-controlled computing more accessible.
