Can we switch the builds to use https://github.com/goreleaser/goreleaser?

It can do arm builds, windows builds, multiarch containers, etc, so could solve multiple issues at once.

Its being used in a few spire projects, like: https://github.com/spiffe/spire-ha-agent/blob/main/.github/workflows/release.yaml

we use to have it, but we removed...
I'm not agains getting it back, if that allow us to build in different environments easily,
but the intention is to only support windows and linux as images right?
And how can we verify than those binaries works? may we create ITs using the different binaries?

I believe github actions has some windows support. we can probably spin up a vm with windows and test.

I'm personally most interested in a linux/arm64 binary. They just got runners for those too.
