During my undergraduate thesis at NCT TSO Dresden, I used a modified version of VascuSynth to generate hepatic vascular trees.
The behaviour of the resulting software differs in some respects from that of the original VascuSynth source code.
However, it also includes extensions, optimizations and documentation that might make sense for the original VascuSynth source code.
