Codeberg (Forgejo) Support

The template supports GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket but does not have support for Codeberg or Forgejo links. It'd be great if there was support for that.

Thanks for the suggestion! It's not well documented, but this is possible now using the custom field in the template. You can add an icon and link for just about anything that has a font awesome icon.

Hi, I'm having some difficulty using the forgejo icon (as an alternative to the Codeberg one, which has not been included yet) from FontAwesome 7.2.

Should it be possible to use icons by using e.g. #fa-icon("chess-queen") as shown in the example here? https://typst.app/universe/package/fontawesome/ (or, here: #fa-icon("forgejo", font: "Font Awesome 7 Brands") as of 7.2)

Would be happy to open a new feature request for this; I'm just not sure :)

I guess there's no super direct way to override the font, one has to modify the file linked above and manually define #forgejo-icon from what I gather?

@n0toose How are you using the template? The current latest release is still using FontAwesome 6.0 and you are correct, there's no way to override the font for the template/icons currently.

If you use the custom author entry, you can input icon names and if they're present in the font they should show up.

FontAwesome 7 support will be part of the upcoming release (0.10.0) which should be soon. Hopefully that helps!

Looks like there are no Codeberg and Sourcehut icons in FontAwesome 7. Forgejo was added in 7.2.0 but the upstream library we're using fontawesome hasn't made a new release that includes support for FontAwesome 7.2.0. Until that happens, this issue will be on hold.
