Possibility to add nightly channel?

Hi, would it be possible to add a channel for nightly builds of ghostty? I currently have a trackpad issue (#11460 from the original repo) which is there since 1.3.1 and is merged for 1.3.2, but it is unknown when the release will come. In the meantime it drives me insane because any terminal scrolling is in practice unusable without a mouse.

Is it possible if you added a nightly build watching for nightly release of official ghostty?

Interesting! We do already have nightly builds. Their main purpose is to let me know if something's merged upstream that breaks our build. I don't advertise them widely right now because:

• They are sometimes broken for several days at a time.
• If you really want to be on a cutting edge nightly build, you're probably better off building from git.

But, your specific case where a fix has been merged upstream makes it seem reasonable to want a more recent .deb.

You have two options to get nightly builds from this ghostty-ubuntu repo:

• You can sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mkasberg/ghostty-ubuntu-nightly, and then sudo apt install ghostty.
• You can just manually download a built artifact (package-ubuntu-*-) from a recent nightly build job (example), unzip and install it (sudo dpkg -i *.deb).

The PPA is better if you want regular updates (but the updates might also have bugs and break things), the manual download may be better if you want to update once, to something that's (hopefully) stable for you until the next version comes out.
