Describe the issue

On one of my environments, I'm getting an error in the flow SYNC HELPER - Cloud Flows:

"message": "Entity 'admin_flow' With Id = b8165ca7-d590-fc12-1609-2a3ffae87cd9 Does Not Exist"

This is occuring on the Flows to iterate Dataverse action.

Expected Behavior

No error to occur.

This error usually happens when SYNC HELPER – Cloud Flows tries to process a flow record that no longer exists in the admin_flows Dataverse table. This can occur if a flow was deleted recently, hasn’t been added to inventory yet, or if there’s a stale reference.
Below are the exact steps to resolve it.

1. Run Cleanup Flow
   Please run:
   CLEANUP HELPER – Check Deleted v4 (Cloud Flows)
   This flow will detect flows that no longer exist in the tenant and mark them as deleted.
   Once it finishes, re‑run the sync flow.

2. Check the Specific Flow Record
   If the issue continues for the same GUID:
   Go to Power Apps → Dataverse → Tables → admin_flows
   Search for the Flow ID shown in the error:
   b8165ca7-d590-fc12-1609-2a3ffae87cd9
   If the record:
   Does not exist → nothing to fix; cleanup should resolve it
   Exists but the flow was deleted → delete the record or set:
   admin_flowdeleted = true
   Is marked for manual inventory (admin_inventoryme = true) → set it to false

3. Optional: Run a Full Flow Re‑Inventory
   If multiple flows show this or cleanup didn’t fix it, run:
   Admin | Sync Template v4 (Flows)
   This performs a full, clean discovery of all flows.

The issue is I'm seeing multiple environments with various failures (but not all environments or flows, of course). The Full Flow Re-Inventory is running regularly, so if that is supposed to be a "universal fix", it isn't doing the job.

Since the Full Flow Re‑Inventory is already running regularly and you’re still seeing failures across multiple environments, this indicates that the issue is caused by stale or orphaned records in the admin_flows table. The inventory flow only updates or adds records, so it cannot remove these stale entries—this is why the error continues.

To resolve the issue, please try the following steps:

1. Run CLEANUP HELPER – Check Deleted v4 (Cloud Flows)
   This flow is included with Core Components 4.50.8 and is the only flow that identifies flows that no longer exist and marks them as deleted (admin_flowdeleted = true).
   Running this cleanup will remove or flag stale references that the inventory flow cannot fix.
2. For any GUID that still appears after cleanup
   Open Dataverse → admin_flows and check the corresponding record:
   If the flow no longer exists → delete the row or set:
   admin_flowdeleted = true
   admin_inventoryme = false
   If the record is present but stale → updating or removing the row resolves the failure.

Why this is required
The Full Re‑Inventory flow does not remove deleted or corrupted records. These stale entries must be cleaned up through Cleanup Helper or a quick manual fix.
Once these stale rows are removed, the SYNC HELPER – Cloud Flows will stop failing.
