Hello, I just noticed the "Power Platform for Admins V2" connector is available to enable in our gcc high tenant along with the new admin center. Is it possible newer releases of CoE can be installed in sovereign clouds now? I was following issue 8835 as instructed in another previous issue to know when upgrade is possible, but it appears that ticket has been closed. It's not clear from the closing comment if the issue is resolved.

We are on v4.42 for core components and v3.25 for governance. If it is possible to install now, should we plan to step up to the current version through previous releases because it has been over a year since we have been able to upgrade? I can start a new issue for this if appropriate.

Recommended Upgrade Path
For Your Situation (v4.42 → Latest)
Since you're more than a year behind (v4.42 was from 2023), here's what I recommend:

Option 1: Direct Upgrade (Recommended)

You can upgrade directly to the latest version (January 2026 - v4.50. 8)
No need to step through intermediate versions
Option 2: Incremental Upgrade (More Conservative)

If you have extensive customizations, review major releases between v4.42 and current
Consider testing in a non-production environment first
