Add slide to channel when creating/editing

I'm exploring using Foyer to set up a digital signage system for the church where I work. Unless I'm missing something, the workflow is:

1. Create a slide
2. Go out to the channels list
3. Edit a channel
4. Add the slide to the channel

This seems a little cumbersome. I was wondering if you'd thought about including a channel selector on the edit slide screen. I've attached a mockup of what that maybe would look like.

Also, another related question: Is there a reason why you didn't set up Channels as a custom taxonomy instead of a custom post type?

Hi @eriktdesign, thanks for that mockup. Yes! I've definitely thought of streamlining the adding of slides. Actually I'm thinking of a revamped channel editor where you can add a new slide by selecting an existing one (like now) or by starting a whole new slide. Your idea to select channels to add to when creating a slide is also interesting, thanks!
