Recommended vs Default settings in UWScript.ps1

I would like to confirm my understanding of the "recommended" vs "default" settings in the powershell script UWScript.ps1.
Do the recommended settings revert Windows back to a state similar to first installation with the unattend file?
And are the default settings what a typical Windows installation uses?
Or do I have it backwards?

"Recommended" by the dev, "default" used by Window$ by default.
