[Feature Request] Href in meetings links in calendar

just want the calendar to have href format from examples lync meetings or zoom
so i can just click on the meetings url

How can I detect such links (in the notes)?

The only thing I can do is to add a URL I detect as attachment, so it ends up here, where you could click on it:

hi by default the links are in the Descriptions of calendar meeting

so cant u add it as href there ?

no, lightning does not support that there, only plain text.

hmm the exhange calendar plugin does it.. but i cant use that plugin now due to the compability issues with thunderbird 68.2.1 and exchange plugin 5 beta 1

Install TB60 again and set it up again? I really do not see how a clickable link can be put in a lightning description. If

a) you cannot show me how the other addon did it, or
b) using my workaround with the attachment is not an alternative

than I will close this request.

In either way, I need to know, how such urls look like, so I can detect them.

im not sure i can switch since i need this at my work machine, and that is dependent on certs so i cant just change to a virt machine either.. im gonna check some colloueges machines if the use thunderbird

Hi @jobisoft , did you implement this feature? I think it will be good workaround if Lightning is not supporting clickable links in description.
