All my servers are failing to start?

[init] Starting the Minecraft server...
Error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class net.minecraft.bundler.Main java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraft/bundler/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 69.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 65.0

After the recent update, all of my servers are failing to start up. Logs via Docker show the error above.

Any suggestions?

i got the same error, but in my synology dm7.3 container module. I don't see any option of changing the image tag. I can download the new image with tag java25 and create a container with that image.

But my problem is how to update my old server or create a new and migrate my old server data over?

any help would be nice, thanks alot

A container can't be modified with DSM or any docker tooling, but your server can be updated by recreating the container and attaching the same volume/directory to the container's /data path.

oh, so that's the proper way. So i just delete the old container. Then recreate a new one using the image with tag jdk25.
Just wondering will the deleting old container also delete the data on the volume tho?

As long as you attached a directory on the NAS, which I seem to remember it requires, then it won't touch the data. To be sure, you could make a copy of the attached directory before removing the old container.
