Question: schema.org vs other standards?

I am wondering what has already been decided regarding use of existing vocabs for person and organization data. I found plp.jsonld, which looks like you are using schema.org for most definitions so far?

I don't have the experience, so I'm wondering what people's perspectives are on the various choices out there - like schema.org, foaf, org, etc? If this is documented, please just point me there and accept my apologies.

@fosterlynn we should document it better! To answer very shortly, we will most likely start with mixing vocabularies and use more then one matching type e.g

• { "@type": ["schema:Person", "foaf:Person"] }
• { "@type": ["schema:Organization", "org:Organization"] }

It does get little trickier with properties but with minimal inference we can automate generating 'duplicates'. Please take a look at very minimal http://www.w3.org/TR/rdfa-syntax/#s_vocab_entailment
