@aschleifer I released v0.0.12. Before I bump libvcs/libtmux, I want to check if builds work by you.

If v0.0.12 doesn't fix it - I looked closer at your error and have a question - does the tests work if you include any of these packages?

• docutils
• myst-parser

The above are dependencies per dependencies in pyproject.toml (Link)

If so, what version are they at? Does updating those packages to a new version help?

@tony sadly the tests still fail with 0.0.12. From reading this https://github.com/git-pull/gp-libs/blob/master/pyproject.toml#L37-L40 it seems to me tha tboth those libs are dependencies for gp-libs anyway and i already have them as dependency for this package thus they are also available for tests.

btw: The doctest you have in checkdepends is a C++ library (arch), so not required here as the doctest used is part of standard library python

1. Yes, you can remove doctest from checkdepends. That's included in Python itself.
2. You may want to also try with python-sphinx installed
3. I also released v0.0.13 with typing updates

@aschleifer libtmux, tmuxp, vcspull, and libvcs all use this dependency in your tests on the arch side, no? those packages use gp-libs when it runs py.test. Is their anything similar / different about those packages from this one?

Does Arch have packaging infrastructure that allows collaborators (like anaconda's https://github.com/conda-forge/libtmux-feedstock/activity or debian's https://salsa.debian.org/debian/python-libtmux)?

Right now Arch Linux doesn't have this infrastructure yet. We are working on it but it is not ready.

Right now I don't have the dependency gp-libs in any of the other packages but some I can't update right now without getting this one to work. I can package it without tests but I would love to figure out why this isn't working.
