How We Do Anything Is How We Do Everything 💭 #110

Description

@nelsonic

This morning I came downstairs and the grocery shopping bags were abandoned on the floor in front of the fridge:

The person emptied the contents of the bags into the fridge/freezer and then just left them there … 🥺

Either they got distracted / called away and then forgot, or they simply don’t care about the mess. 😢

Obviously I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt that the person got called away, but it doesn’t change the fact that they were still there in the morning … ⏳

Folding them neatly takes a less than a minute:

And putting them in the bag to be returned to the grocery story takes a few seconds:

Most importantly, it sends a clear message to everyone that we either don’t care about keeping the kitchen, and by proxy the whole house tidyOR we care deeply about having a tidy kitchen & house.

TODO

  • Write Down a Clear Guidance for What Happens with Grocery Shopping bags we get from “Click & Collect”. Including how they are folded & stored to be returned to the grocery store on the next visit.
