SalonJC - Salon Management System

📦 Prerequisites

  • PHP >= 8.1
  • Composer
  • Node.js & NPM
  • MySQL
  • Laragon (recommended) or similar local development environment

⚙️ Installation

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone https://github.com/dimuthadithya/salonJC.git
cd salonJC

  2. Install PHP dependencies

    composer install

  3. Install Node dependencies

    npm install

  4. Environment Setup

    cp .env.example .env
php artisan key:generate

  5. Configure Database

    • Update .env with your database credentials
    DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=salonjc
DB_USERNAME=root
DB_PASSWORD=

  6. Run Migrations and Seeders

    php artisan migrate --seed

  7. Create storage link

    php artisan storage:link

  8. Build assets

    npm run dev

  9. Start the development server

    php artisan serve

🏃‍♂️ Running the Application

Access the application at http://localhost:8000 or your configured Laragon URL.

Default Admin Credentials

  • Email: admin@salonjc.com
  • Password: password

Default Customer Credentials

  • Email: customer@example.com
  • Password: password
