[Bug/Enhancement]: UI elements broken in drag-and-drop layout engine

Description

Several UI elements are currently broken within the drag-and-drop layout engine.

Context & Current Usage

• Backend Library: Most users currently integrate this as a backend library via gopdflib and pypdfsuit.
• Future Enhancement Placeholder: The drag-and-drop generator will eventually serve as a placeholder for a future enhancement where users can generate templates using LLMs instead of manual drag-and-drop.
• What's Working: Using the UI strictly for viewing the generated templates is working as intended.

Scope of Work

The primary goal of this ticket is to audit, identify, and document the broken UI components.

• Audit & List: Identify and list out all the specific functionalities/elements on the UI that are currently broken within the drag-and-drop layout engine.
• Fixes (Optional but highly appreciated): If you have the bandwidth to fix the identified bugs after listing them, please proceed with a PR!

How to Reproduce

1. Navigate to the template layout engine UI.
2. Attempt to use the drag-and-drop builder to create or modify a template.
3. Observe the broken UI behavior (Template viewing still works fine).
