Slide #1 layout is broken in Chinese locales

• I have searched the existing issues and found none matching what I'm reporting.

Bug Description

Comparing the screenshot of slide #1 in the Chinese(Taiwan) locale:

with the English one:

It appears that the text on the let is pushing the mascot image on the right off the screen.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Boot the installer media.
2. Choose Chinese(Taiwan) in the language selection step.
3. Continue to the installing step.

Expected behavior

The Chinese(Taiwan) layout be similar to the English one.

Note that the zh-cn locale also has this problem, albeit slightly different in the appearance:

I can verify that the following translation changes can workaround this issue:

Also, I would like to ask if such fixes/workarounds can be shipped into the upcoming 26.04 release. I know freezes exist, however, this seems to be a major installer UI defect IMHO so I suppose an exception can still be granted?

These strings are verified to not reproducing the problems in this issue (along with some minor semantic improvements):

This is related to #1387. We should fix layout issues with non-English strings throughout the slideshow.

Also, I would like to ask if such fixes/workarounds can be shipped into the upcoming 26.04 release. I know freezes exist, however, this seems to be a major installer UI defect IMHO so I suppose an exception can still be granted?

I don't consider this a major UI issue since the slideshow is purely informational and doesn't affect the functionality of the installer at all. It certainly isn't a release critical issue, see https://documentation.ubuntu.com/project/release-team/freezes/#final-freeze.
We should improve the slide layout for the point release, though.

Thanks for answering! In that case, I would still like the translation workaround to be available in the case that the user chooses to update their installer before proceeding with the installation. Could we proceed with that option?
