I have read the manuscript through from beginning to end, and I think it looks "good enough" for a BioHackrXiv report. I made a few minor changes, and one major: adding author roles, as these are now mandatory for BioHackrXiv.
Could you all please have a final read through the manuscript, review the author roles, and let us know if you are OK with submitting this preprint? We would like to revisit a few analyses and expand some section for a journal paper submission, but this does not have to be, or even should be, included in this preprint. (The manuscript will also need some restructuring depending on which journal we target.)
