Is there a way to disable autoupdate ?

I like to read often the changes in the small set of plugins i use and i update them often. But when i update i usually have to change my configs to adapt to new changes in the workflow. At the start of the day when i start using opencode i often need to stop and go see whats changed in this library because it auto updated.... would be cool if it was possible to lock to manual updates

I do not see a user-facing switch for that yet.

The auto-update hook itself accepts autoUpdate = false, and it has a notification-only path when auto-update is disabled. But the plugin currently creates the hook with autoUpdate: true, and the documented config option nearby is only showStartupToast.

The one existing way to stop automatic replacement appears to be pinning the plugin version in your OpenCode plugin config. The hook checks whether the plugin entry is pinned and skips auto-update in that case, showing only an update notification.

A small upstream fix would be to add a config option, for example autoUpdate, validate it in the config schema/docs, and pass config.autoUpdate ?? true into createAutoUpdateCheckerHook().
