Plugin window is too large in v2 and exceeds screen resolution

Since updating to version 2, the plugin window is extremely large and exceeds my screen resolution. Because of this, I cannot see or access the bottom/edges of the interface, making it impossible to use properly.

@vudone Could you please edit the value of window_w to 600 and the value of window_h to 371 (actually, any width & height you want) and then save the file? Then the plugin window size should become normal if you re-open it.

@SthaugeAudio @vudone If you do observe that the plugin window size gets larger each time (and finally bigger than the screen size), you may go to UI setting panel - Other and turn the Window Size Fix to On. I have received a similar report before and it seems to be the easiest and the most reliable way to solve this.

In the end I had to change the "fix window size" option to "on" because the window kept getting bigger every time I opened Ardour.

@SthaugeAudio It is OFF by default. The best way is:

1. First leave it as OFF and adjust the window size to something you feel confortable (the plugin will remember the size)
2. Then set it to ON so that the default size will keep unchanged in the future (you can still change the size, but the plugin will not remember it)

It is a bit complex. But I couldn't think of a better way :(

This is good enough, but may be there could be a tip or more info in the manual: On: plugin window size adjustment will NOT be stored but open as it is now every time ZL-Eq is opened Tip: To set the fixed window size you prefer, do this: Set it to OFF, adjust it the window size to the size you want, quit the plugin(it will now store the size). @SthaugeAudio Sure. I will add it when the next version is ready, as I also need to update something else. Perhaps a new subsection about window re-sizing would be helpful. I have also received several reports which implies that it might be difficult for some people to notice the right-bottom resize dragger (as it is half-transparent).

Nice, that would be a nice addition to the manual. I have rewritten the text I suggested, but please use whatever text that is better than this: ---- ON: plugin window size adjustment will NOT be stored but open as it is currently every time ZL-Equalizer is opened. The size can still be changed, but the changes will not be stored. Tip: To set the fixed window size as you prefer, do this: 1. Set it to OFF, adjust it the window size to the size you prefer, quit the plugin(it will now store the window size). 2. Open the plugin again and set it to ON.
