Hello Xray Core team,
Cloudflare has been actively developing and deploying the MASQUE protocol (HTTP/3-based proxying over QUIC), which is now used internally by Cloudflare WARP as a modern replacement or complement to traditional tunneling approaches.
Currently, Xray Core does not provide native support for MASQUE, which limits the ability to integrate or experiment with WARP-based connectivity in environments where QUIC and HTTP/3 are preferred or required.
Adding MASQUE support could offer several benefits:
Improved compatibility with Cloudflare WARP infrastructure
Better performance and stability over QUIC-based networks
Increased resistance to traffic analysis and DPI in restrictive environments
Alignment with emerging IETF standards (MASQUE, CONNECT-UDP, CONNECT-IP)
This feature could be implemented either as:
A new outbound protocol, or
An extension to existing QUIC / HTTP3 transport layers
Thank you for your continued work on Xray Core and for considering this enhancement.
