Can't start the vso shell. I get "bash: --: invalid option" #424

This is sadly caused by the latest version of util-linux, so upgrading the subsystem will currently consistently break it. Resetting it and running: Should be a sensible workaround for now. Once a new version comes out, the hold mark can be removed. util-linux is aware of the problem and will revert it in the next release: |

Can't start the vso shell. I get "bash: --: invalid option". (It manifested as an inability to even open Black Box at all. The terminal would open, that error would appear briefly, and then the window would close.)
I did various things to fix this (including running reset-vso, running vso pico-init --force, installing a new terminal program, etc, but nothing has stuck permanently. After these attempts, I now have to type "vso shell" to even try to get into it, but I still get that error (this time, the terminal window stays open).
Any help would be appreciated! By the way, I made NO CHANGES that would cause this (in fact, no changes at all in the past couple of weeks, except for updating flatpaks or running 'sudo apt update' in the main vso shell prior to this breaking).
I need this to work. Thanks!
