Hi !
Currently, PlaytimeManager excels at tracking global playtime and joinstreaks. I would like to suggest adding a Daily Playtime tracking feature that resets every day at midnight (or a configurable time).
This addition would include two main components:
-
Daily Placeholders: To display how much time a player has spent online specifically today.
-
Daily Hourly Rewards: A system to reward players based on their playtime within the current day, encouraging them to stay active daily.
Why is this needed?
While global playtime rewards are great for long-term progression, Daily Rewards are essential for short-term retention. It gives players a reason to stay connected for "just one more hour" every single day to claim their daily prizes.
Suggested Implementation
New Placeholders:
-
%PTM_playtime_daily%: Formatted time spent online today (e.g., 1h 20m).
-
%PTM_playtime_daily_raw%: Total seconds played today (useful for external scripts or formatting).
Best regards,
