DhwaniControl does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, or device-identifying information.
- No Trackers: The app contains no third-party tracking libraries or analytics.
- No Ads: The app is completely ad-free.
- No Cloud Sync: Your settings are never uploaded to any server.
To provide its core functionality, DhwaniControl requires certain Android system permissions. Here is why they are needed:
- Display over other apps (Overlay): This is required to show the Floating Button and detect Edge Swipe gestures while you are using other applications.
- Post Notifications: On Android 13+, this permission is necessary to keep the background service active and stable, ensuring the on-screen triggers remain available when you need them.
Any configuration you make within the app (such as the position of the floating button, icon styles, or edge preferences) is stored locally on your device. This data is never shared and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
We believe in full transparency. As an open-source project, our entire codebase is available for public audit. You can verify our privacy claims by reviewing the source code on GitHub or GitLab.
