have you checked the urls with your addblocker? that would be the first thing to do. then we can cross out the "i belive".

I'm not sure what you mean exactly, as I have not rooted the TV and not run any adblockers on it.. accessing these from normal PC/browser will not yield useful data i think.. Got these from searching online, like: https://www.reddit.com/r/Philips/comments/1jpjyam/philips_is_a_disgusting_company_need_help many report that blocking these prevents firmware/ads from automatically taking over, hence posted here for evaluation by more experts.. I've added these manually and seems to help, but did not run any packet sniffing to exactly prove.
