colour speed on tracks

Interesting idea. Would need to be configurable what faster, medium and slower means exactly. Maybe depending on the type of activity.

I think more about something general, e.g. percentage above/below medium speed - KISS principle😁

Medium is avg speet/pace
and if it varies more than, for example, ±10%, it will be red or green, the % can be configurable

Btw GeoTacker has It, which I have used for many years, but a lack of development and statistics got me over to OpenTacker 😁

I like the idea with deviation from the average.
One question is then how we handle changes: I guess they should not be to abrupt, right?

And how do we handle if the average changes (i.e., while still recording)?

I don't think that it should be done while it is being recorded, far too advanced, but only when tracking is finished and you want to view it on the map

Would it be possible to make these colours configurable? Reason for this: colour combination red - yellow - green is uninformative for colour blind persons who cannot see a difference between red and green. 8,5 % of the population is colour blind - 8 % of males and 0,5 % of females.

@EliasA thanks for your suggestion. I would love to make it more accessible. Can you describe what colors would be best and how to apply them to the speed value?

@EliasA just some guesses: was it a fresh install? Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the nightly build? Do you have the release version installed in parallel? Just to make sure it's not mixed up. I've no good idea that's why I'm grasping at straws.

Initially I had release version installed when I installed 6108 nightly + OSM Dashboard 1440. When I noticed there was a problem I uninstalled the release version. No difference. I just uninstalled the test versions of OpenTracks and OSM Dashboard and reinstalled them. No difference.
