Add support to boot from VHD/VHDX

Is it possible to add support to boot from VHD/VHDX with pre-installed Linux Distros/Windows?

I think anything is possible. However, I do not have sufficient knowledge on this subject.

However, to boot Windows from a VHD (or VHDx), you must extract the Windows Boot Manager–related files yourself; otherwise, it would violate the relevant terms of use. (grub4dos/ntloader#21)
