Fornite installed via Xbox App on PC, continuing to show 'running' after exiting the game

Bug Description

After exiting Fortnite, Playnite still shows that the game is still running even though the process has ended. Fortnite was downloaded through the Xbox App to take advantage of my Ultimate Game Pass benefits for FN Pass.

Xbox library plugin. And no that's not mine, very likely a coincidence

hi @JosefNemec, i've got the same problem with crimson desert (installed via MS Store). i tried both Xbox App and MS Store library integrations and both fail to detect the game closing

hi again! i think i solved my issue with crimson desert, hope this can help others too:

• add your game to playnite manually (select Add Game -> Microsoft Store application...)
• edit game details (select your game and press F3)
• in Actions tab, change the tracking mode to "Folder" and in tracking Path insert your actual game folder location (e.g: X:\XBoxGames\<Game> ; mine was on a different Volume than C: so maybe that was the issue)
• done. now everything should work
