Creating a backup from a GitHub repo #2566
|
Hi there! My laptop recently died on me and its not salvageable. I have a GitHub repository of my site with all the files, but I don't have a backup on hand since this happened all so suddenly. Any idea of how I can generate a backup file from the GitHub repository to load it onto my new laptop? Thanks! |

Unless your GitHub repo includes the
inputfolder or a backup .tar file, unfortunately, it's not possible to fully reinstate your site without having to start over. Your site will still be live, but you won't be able to make new updates without starting over.See:
