Cannot delete image group or change status #2824
Description
Filing this on behalf of the coordinator for Scotland, who notified me of an image group whose current status is "Being transcribed" but she cannot change this status. The image group is actually an old duplicate of another image group, and she asked me to delete the duplicate as sysadmin. When I tried this, I received the blue-text message that the deletion was successful, but in fact it was not, as there is still an entry for the image group in the table. The image group in question is Colonsay PR/ARL-Colonsay-BA-1796-1819-1 in county Argyleshire (ARL).
So there are two issues here. The first is a bug: the system is telling me that it deleted the image group when in fact it did not. The second is that the county coordinator (not syndicate coordinator) should be allowed to change the status of an image group at any time. Since we have so many old image groups on the system whose status is incorrect (the transcribers are long gone), it's important to be able to set the status properly as a way of cleaning up. But currently the system does not allow this, at least not for the Colonsay image group in question here. When I click on it, I should get the action button for Initialize Image Group, but I don't.
