I am a beginning python programmer and not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
The purpose of this repo is twofold:

To help me become competent with git and github by using it in a real work situation even though I'm just a hobbyist.

to have others create issues/suggestions to help me learn better coding techniques.
Also of course this program is mostly usable and it's yours to copy/alter/share. I would appreciate attribution of course.
Bugs: Needs to use argparse module for professional command-line parsing. A user reportet doesn't work on Linux, must test that.
