Launching MacOS Base in QEMU not working

When I launch the autopilot configured, auto downloaded Tahoe MacOS VM I see the Baseline MacOS disk, Terminal and EFI. I select Baseline MacOS Disk and it starts to load MacOS - I see the Apple Logo and loading bar. For a brief moment it looks like Ultimate-MacOS-KVM VM loads, literally for a second, and some grey text then goes back to boot picker. All happens too fast for me to see.

Any thoughts how to resolve this?
