Tab Killer

Tab Killer is a humorous Chrome extension that helps users quickly close unwanted browser tabs with a single click while tracking their total "kill count." Designed for people who tend to accumulate excessive tabs, the extension turns tab management into a fun and engaging experience with satisfying sound effects, a running tally of closed tabs, and a quirky psycho penguin mascot. Combining productivity with comedy, Tab Killer offers a lighthearted way to declutter your browser without the usual guilt of closing tabs you might never revisit.

Installation Instructions

To install and run Tab Killer on Google Chrome, first clone the repository to your computer using Git. Open a terminal and run git clone https://github.com/your-username/tab-killer.git. Next, open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/, then enable Developer Mode using the toggle in the top-right corner. Click Load unpacked, browse to the cloned Tab Killer project folder, and select it. Chrome will load the extension immediately, after which Tab Killer will be available in your browser and ready to start eliminating unwanted tabs.
