Add a widget for finding blocks in a project

I'd like to have a small widget that can be expandable/collapsible that would show the names of every block in a project. Clicking on a name would focus on that block. It would also be nice if that list could be filtered.

I get the idea, but I'm not fully clear on the visual. I'm picturing a search bar at the top, a scrollable list of block names below, type to filter, click to focus.

Is that what you have in mind, or something different ?

Ok, I created a VERY crude example of how I envision it.

In the collapsed form it would just be the top row with a plus sign on the left, with an empty text search box.

Clicking the plus will show all of the block names in the project, which will expand below the search box.

Typing in the search box will show just the block names that match, either expanded or collapsed.

Clicking a block name would focus on the block, but not alter the widget meaning it wouldn't collapse or clear the search.

Please ignore all colors, styles, and scales on that mock-up. It's bigger than I'd like.

I’ve now implemented the requested canvas search feature for blocks, and also extended it to cover Kanban tasks as suggested by @jackedproxy.

A new 0.8.2-beta image has been pushed, so you can already try it out and let me know what you think :)

Even this is a big improvement, thank you. I think where you have the search now, if when clicking into the search box, it would just pop under the list of blocks similar to how it does when you ctrl+k, but without taking over the entire screen, that would be nice.
